Socialising in Italy

Castel Sant'Angelo, RomeItalians are generally very warm and approachable and enjoy socialising.

It is customary to go out after work with colleagues who will be keen to get to know you, so this is a good way to make new friends.

You could also join a local club or society, or buy an English-language publication if you wish to socialise with non-Italians too (they list English-language associations, bookshops, clubs etc).
