Disabled access to HM Ambassador's residence

Disabled accessThe Foreign & Commonwealth Office and the British Embassy in Rome are keen to ensure that their buildings and services are fully accessible to disabled members of the public. Wherever possible, we have made our buildings and services accessible. To assist disabled visitors, we have set out below details of disabled access/amenities at this Residence. We hope you find this information helpful.

General Physical Access to the Villa Wolkonsky

  • People can enter at the pedestrian entrance and follow the driveway all the way to the main entrance of the Residence;
  • Facilities exist within the Residence for the disabled on the 1st floor;
  • There is a toilet on the 1st floor that is suitable for those with disabilities.

Limited parking is available in the street but it is extremely busy and visitors should not rely on getting a space. Parking may be requested within the grounds of the Residence in case of special need.
