Veteran passports

British passport holders born before 2 September 1929 can apply for a free passport. Please call us on +44 208 082 4733 to request forms and information. These types of application should be sent to the Rome Embassy. We wish to make clear that this category of passport is processed in the UK and so can take more than eight weeks to produce. If you need your passport more quickly and are content to pay, you may apply for a normal passport following the instructions on the Western European Passport Service.
